Oh, the breakfast was a real treat, especially that homemade marmalade-absolute legend! The quirky decor, very nostalgic. And can we talk about how comfy the Superior Double Room was? A good stay indeed!

Unbeatable location and lovely old and unique hotel. Very very good breakfast selection with jam, brioche plus fresh fruit. Location really close to Dover and pleasant pub and local shop. Also, in the heart of the village.

The lack of wifi was shocking for a supposed 'modern' place. The host was charming, but that didn't replace my expectation of actual service. I was hoping for a room upgrade as a sign of appreciation for my patronage, but alas, I guess they save that for 'special' guests, not like me.

We had a lovely stay in a beautiful room with charming wooden beams and a ridiculously comfy bed. There were nice opportunities to unwind in the spacious shower or enjoy an excellent breakfast prepared by the owner. Just a heads up, the road can get a bit noisy at night, but it didn't spoil our time at all. 😊

Unique decor reflective of character.
The non existent wifi in the annexe was frustrating. The taxi services to nearby attractions are utterly unreliable. The lack of local transport options made it difficult to explore the area.

I enjoyed a comfortable stay, with a cozy bed and a good breakfast that featured fresh fruit and homemade jams. I found that the wifi was non-existent in my room, quite frustrating, and parking at the nearby pub could get busy during peak times.

The Superior Double Room had a super cozy bed, private bathroom, and a TV. There was a tea/coffee maker for convenience. The decor was charming with original 15th-century wooden beams. Had a great shower that was spacious with hot water. Breakfast was delicious, filled with fresh fruits and smoothies.

A lovely cozy cottage with really good character and charm. The room was adorned with vintage decor and wooden beams that took me back to my childhood. The breakfast was a good spread, including fresh fruit and delicious smoothies. Kerstin, the host, were pretty good too, and her breakfast was perfectly timed for my early start!
No wifi.
